back in texas. we're in Lubbock right now. never been here before. i woke up and went inside to brush my teeth. usually when i do this im in a weird, empty club and no one else is around. this time i had to use what is a restaurant bathroom. needless to say when i was brushing my teeth in there and patrons are coming in and out i felt slightly homeless.
yesterday was a really odd day for me. RARELY do i ever feel sick or weird or whatever. but yesterday on stage i felt like i was a leaf in the wind. i think its because i havent been eating enough (which lauren pointed out) and also ive been working out on tour for basically the first time. so basically i was a recluse the whole day because i was not in any sort of social mood. all this means is that i was in my bunk watching like 6 episodes of LOST. season 3, im re-watching to prepare for season 4 which starts in like a week.
also the two pictures included are fresh from this morning. one is of my actually writing this and one is a candid of ben and Brian (tour manager/sound guy). enjoy!
what about heath ledger? can you guys believe that? he was so young and was coming off of what was to be a HUGE role for him. if you didnt know he is going to be the Joker in the new Batman Movie called "The Dark Knight". From what I've heard it doesnt seem like there was foul play, but who knows what they will discover.
i havent really wanted to say anything about this so far because i dont want to jinx us, BUT in the past few weeks we have been added to a lot of really big radio stations. just to name a few..... seattle, san francisco (live 105- we were #1 last night), san diego, LA (kroq), boston, phoenix, kansas city, detroit, and springfield. WOW that is literally insane.
ps- this game has taken over the bus its called BOGGLE and you should play...

it sucks feelin' the way you did, it's a real weird feeling. and for you to get it on tour and everything, wow. :\ the two pictures are great. hope you'll be postin' more throughout this tour. heath ledger, just....wow. my friend called me and was like "heath ledger died?!?!" it sucks, cause his career was going the right direction. i'm startin' to think all these deaths aren't just a coincidence. i'm really glad that you boys are gettin' the radio play you deserve. but i must admit, it's weird hearin' you on the radio. hahah. that game seems pretty confusin'. i'll have to look into it later. sorry this is so long. see you soon, hopefully. bye!

Hopefully when you come back to Jersey on Feb 2nd, I can make something for you. Its just going to be kind of tight, because I'm bringing a lot of people and this rental car I have is like a matchbox car, with no trunk. Maybe we can take 2 cars to the show. I'll do my best for you and the guys!

The new Batman movie is finished.
So, we'll still get to see it in all of it's glory as Heath Ledger's last film.
I've been very excited for this movie, and it's very sad to have to know that this was Heath's last role. He's such a fantastic actor.
