first day back to school

we just got off stage in milwaukee. it was such a build up, buying lotsa new stuff, figuring it all out, practicing for a few weeks. then we get dumped on stage in milwaukee (all very nervous) and then 45minutes later, its over. so weird. i think it was a good first show, we definitely werent 100% and we realized we were playing too many new songs and in general it was a learning experience to see what works and what doesnt.

besides that i basically miss lauren every second. more blogs more frequently i promise.

It's okay that the first show wasn't perfect, but atleast you did good. Jeremy told me all about it. I wish I could have been there:( I gotta wait until November. anyway you better write more of these. I always check.

It wasnt a good show, it was a great show!!!!!!! Thanks for signing my ticket stub while you were watching The Academy Is... Nash told me before the show you guys were gonna play 5 new songs but you only played 3. I think its because you guys were forced to cut your set a little short though. The song "Someone Else's Arms" (i think thats what its called) was great!!!!!

yayaya, i'm so glad the first show went great. it's gotta be weird getting back up on stage & performing after having been locked up in a recording studio for months. i'm sure that lauren misses you just as much, & i adore her for being able to stay by your side (even if not literally).

:) see you soon!
